Travis Gay

Senior Leader

Travis and Jessica Gay are Georgia natives who moved back from Fort Worth, Texas to start The Awakening in 2009. They and their 3 children (Josiah, Lydia, and Zuri) enjoy playing outside, movies, swimming, laughing hard, and taking trips to the mountains where Travis and Jessica serenade the kids with classic country music. Travis is a personal trainer and Jessica works for an independent physicians association.

A great date night for Travis and Jessica is dinner at one of Athens' finest local restaurants followed by a UGA Men's basketball game. The Gay's love tacos.

Luke O’Kelley

Luke grew up as a missionary kid in West, Africa, and moved back to Tucker, Ga when he was 10. He went to UGA for his undergrad where he met his wife Lane Marie. Luke and Lane Marie currently live in Hull, Ga. Luke loves to play drums, make art, and read good books.
